Another highly anticipated moment during Ramadan is the breaking of fast. Recently, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali managed by Discovery Hotels and Resorts held the Ramadan Iftar event at The Pond Restaurant and it was a resounding success. Attended by the hotel’s management, sister companies, esteemed media partners and the children from the orphanage Yayasan Jami’ Baitul Mustaqim, the event featured a delectable buffet and Takjil delights for breaking the fast. The evening was enriched by heartwarming performances of Tilawah, Sholawat, and Tari Saman by the children from the orphanage.
In addition to the delightful Ramadan Iftar, we encountered significant moments and organized fun games, presents and donations for the orphanage to spreading joy and happiness in this holy month. As a token of appreciation, door prizes were offered to our media partners, including complimentary of nights stay and indulgent Balinese spa treatments.
Ramadan Iftar is valuable in reminding us of our blessings. We tend to forget the moments in which we sit around a table with our friends and family, renewing intentions and breaking our fasts together; sharing, talking and most importantly-eating together.
