Indonesia - Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel &
Villas has brought on board a new member of staff to
support the Food & Beverage team and is proud to
announce the recent appointment of Mr. Hans-Jürgen
Gorsler as Executive Chef.
Chef Hans was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and started
his career as a Commis Saucier at the Intercontinental
Hotel, Frankfurt. He rapidly amplified his career to
become Executive Chef at the National Headquarters of
the German Education Union, GEW, Frankfurt.
He continued his career as Executive Chef in several
countries, such as The United Arab Emirates, China (Shanghai)
and Kuwait - where he received an Award of Excellence
at the Kuwait Hilton for two years in a row.
He formerly worked for Hilton Ankara, Turkey, before
being recruited by Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel in
order to contribute his vast experience to further enhance
the culinary experiences at the hotel.
