Travel agents & airlines appreciation night, at
The Kharisma Ballroom on 18 December 2007.
The event was successfully held with more than 200 attendees
from travel agents and airlines. During the event, there
were awards presented for the best agents based on market
segmentation, the top 10 agents based on room nights
booked and one award presented for the loyalty of an
airline.
The
spectacular night started with a speech from Mr. Urs
Klee, General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel,
who, surprisingly, approached the podium on a traditional
bicycle. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude for
the support of travel agents and airlines given to the
hotel during the past year.
Later
in the evening, guests were entertained by several performances
including tropical dancing, a band, and also a surprising
performance from Ms. Alice Matulessy, Discovery Kartika
Plaza Hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing,
who sang Whitney Houston’s big hit, ‘I Will
Always Love You’, which impressed all of the invitees;
she continued by introducing all the sales team to the
guests.
This event
was held especially for the travel agents and airlines
to show appreciation for their support to Discovery
Kartika Plaza Hotel & Villas for the past year and
to encourage greater cooperation and business in the
future.
