In attempt to explore the essence of the human body, artists S. Teddy Darmawan and Daniel Flanagan put together their ideas in the form of painting and sculpture. Their works are scheduled to be exhibited at the Kendra Gallery, which was opened on last February 6th anda last through next March 7th.
The exhibition turned to be nothing new for both creative minds of Teddy and Daniel. With different styles, they found an impeccable relation with each other’s works. In their latest collaboration, considering the body as something indefinite yet predetermined, they fashioned a group of painting and sculpture that gives a true impression or gesture, of the whole of the figure. Teddy provides his head theme as a generative root, while Flanagan’s more into the surreal distortion style.
